My God, Lourdes Leon really is turning into such a beautiful young woman, isn’t she? Her parentage is all over her face, and while she looks more and more like Madonna as she gets order, I can also see a healthy dose of Carlos Leon in there too. She really got the best features from both of them. And much like her mom, Lola wears too much makeup. It’s way too much for someone her age, honestly.
Anyway, these are new photos of Lola and Kelly Osbourne at the 1-year anniversary event for Lola and Madonna’s Material Girl line at Macy’s. If you remember, Kelly is the “face” of the brand now, replacing ol’ Raccoon McPantless. Kelly looks cute in these photos, but your eye goes to Lola, right? Why isn’t she the face of the brand? Oh, right. Because she’s 14 years old! She’ll be 15 next month. 15 going on 35, right?
In late August, Madonna took her kids and her boyfriend on vacation, and the paparazzi got lots of photos of Lola in her bikini. Some people commented on her developing breasts, which… come on, guys. She’s a teenage girl. She’s developing like a healthy teenage girl. This is not an implant situation. This is a puberty situation, and Lola is growing up before our eyes. She’s also taken care of her eyebrows too!

I really don’t get why Kelly is the face of Material Girl.
Hmmmm – the red lipstick is throwing me off in the “is it too much makeup?” department. Because I definitely wore my fair share of the stuff from about age 13 forward, but the lipstick was always, um — boring pink.
But I wasn’t “in the spotlight” or being photographed or at the helm of a fashion line or the daughter of an icon. So, pink made sense.
I’m going to err on the side of fashion and say, “she looks great. grown-up, classy, dressed reasonably age-appropriate, and those eyebrows are to die for.”
Between this and the Jennifer Connelly post, I’m having a definite eyebrow envy day.
(although is anyone else getting a little bit of an OctoMom vibe in some of those shots????)
I’m sick of the kids of celebrities acting like they’re somehow famous for a reason other than who their parents are. Don’t care what they look like; the only thing special about them is mom and dad.

As for all of the Kelly haters….she has really done something with herself. Sobered up and put a lot of energy into her look and her career. I love her fun loving personality and like everybody else, she deserves a chance. A chance is exactly what this clothing line is giving her.

@girlygirly Glad Kelly is sober but she isn’t an attractive or intelligent person. She should have gotten an education because she just isn’t talented and coasts on her family celebrity. I have tons of respect for the other Osbourne sister who wanted nothing to do with the reality show and is living her life on her own merits. I hope Lola is the exception to the celebrity offspring twit syndrome. She at least already has some charisma.

Yes, she’s definitely made up (especially the RUBY RED lipstick) & could pass for twenty-something. However, remember, Lourdes’ styling is probably the result of her mothers influence…the same person who chose Kelly “Ham Hock Legs” Osbourne as the spokesperson for the clothing line.

Haha, I wore WAY more make-up than that when I was her age. I was also delusional enough to think I looked bitchin’. I think my mom realized I looked more like Raccoon McPantless (except for the no pants/smoking/DGAF attitude; she would definitely have put her foot down) than any tempting little Lolita. I’ll have to dredge those photos up, I always get a kick out of how ridiculous I looked.

Lola is dressed very nicely. She’s a beautiful girl. I wish she was the face of Material Girl, but Madonna says she needs to focus on her studies. Madonna has said her children have to do chores and that her children will not be lazy adults living off trust Funds. Madonna got high grades in school and was never in trouble and had a dance scholarship to college. Believe me, these kids have structure.
If these photos are any indication, she looks like she is dressing very age appropriate. She is lovely. Say what you will about Madonna, but she is no Dinah Lohan or Kris Kardashian. Lordes seems to be very well adjusted given the circumstances she grew up in, Brava!
She’s a month away from fifteen. So her dress is very young and fresh, age appropriate. Really light eyemakeup. Just her lipstick is bright. Re the heels, all the kids going to school dances at 15 wear high heels. Mine did. It’s not like she wore them any other time. It was a big day and I think Lola looked nice.

She is a beautiful girl. I don’t have an issue with the lipstick. When I was 14 grunge was the rage so we were all covered up but we wore really dark lipstick (Revlon’s “Blackberry”). I do think the dress and heels are a little too mature but I’ve seen her dressed like a teen before too.

I have an issue with the makeup and heels. My daughter is 13, getting close to 14, and is getting busty too. (Why does everyone think long hair is a weave, BTW? My girl and I both have thick hair halfway down our backs-totally real.)

She DOES have the best of both parents. Lola is stunning, especially in the third picture, and seems like a nice girl. At her age I loved my makeup too, but eased up on it as I got older.

Madonna has always had long thick eyelashes. Her eyes were her best feature. I doubt Lola has false eyelashes on. She has her mother’s eyes except color.

A lot of girls her age who have just started using makeup will cake it on. When I was her age, I wouldn’t leave the house without black eyeliner on. I don’t even use eyeliner any more unless I’m going out to party because it’s too severe on me for a day look. But it took me a few years to figure that out. She’s just coming into her own, so I give her a pass. And she’s wearing the red lipstick at an event, not daily, so I don’t think it’s a problem. And she does have a more sophisticated sense of style than a lot of teenagers.
Her clothing is classy and age-appropriate. She’s not flashing anyone, so as far as I’m concerned she’s doing pretty well. It could be a lot worse. She could be wearing lucite stripper heels and blue eyeshadow.

I say she could tone it down on the makeup but I don’t find her dress to be too mature. I think it looks good and it looks like something a 14 year old would wear. Plus the last picture says she knows how to keep it casual. So she seems like a decent teenager. Hopefully her dad has instilled in her a decent sense of morals, like saying thank you when someone gives you flowers (even if you “loathe” them).

That dress is a young teen’s dress. Nothing about it is mature. It is a cute dress. She just happens to be a voluptuous young girl turning 15. It isn’t even low cut. She doesn’t have on heavy makeup for the event. Just the lipstick is heavy.

lets see. when i was 14 I wore heavy eye makeup, a cheetah print mini, fishnets, and knee high comando boots. And my hair was colored like a candy cane. she’s gonna be just fine.

Lola has it all, looks, brains and money! Her colouring is Carlos, her dad, but her looks are unmistakenly Madonna, despite getting rid of her braces and so no gap in her teeth. In the flesh Lola is actually not so mature looking. She’s only just taller than Madonna (5’4″ & half) at the moment. Photos always make you look taller especially against Kelly whose much shorter. Lola also does not wear much foundation only eye make-up and pistick. I agree the red lipstick her dies stand out but not everyone can take it – she certainly can. I’m amused by references to this ’14 yr old ‘. She’s 15 in 3 weeks! I think her growing up process has been timed just right. Madonna is a strict mum and has not allowed Lola to grow up too quickly. This is no Suri Cruise & there wi be no re-hab! Lola has always had an old head on her shoulders owing to the number of adults she’s been around. But she also has her mum’s vitality and kidishness well documented in the recent pics of her on holiday in France recently. Of course, by birth Lola is advantaged, but if you think this is a girl who’s only claim to fame is get parentage then watch this space!!!
I don’t have a problem with this. At 14, girls are trying all this stuff out. More candid pictures of her out and about show she is not rocking 6 in heels and red lippy everyday. She’s very pretty, and she looks WAY more (and ACTS way more) like a teenager than say, Courtney Stodden.

My daughter is 16 and is experimenting with makeup, different clothing styles, hairstyles, etc. It’s normal for a girl of this age to go heavy on the makeup when she wants to look “dressed up.” I think she looks age-appropriate in these photos. There’s nothing hanging out or exposed and her skirt isn’t too small. I’d let her leave the house like this.
As for the boobs…my 16 year old seems to have “blossomed” overnight and let me tell you, it is not easy to find tops and dresses that keep those things under wraps! She went from a rather boyish figure to BOOM C-cup over the summer, and suddenly none of her clothes fit anymore. She is self conscious about it, big time.
It is hard enough going through puberty, now try doing it with everyone in the world commenting on it and taking your picture. Yikes.

That doesn’t look like “too much” makeup to me. It looks like too bright lipstick and some enormous lash extensions or falsies, but otherwise not much besides some powder and sheer shadow. “Too much” makeup would be more along the lines of heavy foundation and powder, dark lipstick, heavy black liner, layer upon layer of mascara, dark or bright shadow, etc.
I hate the dress, but I don’t have a problem with the shoes. Maybe not appropriate for a 14 y/o, but her mom is a pop star and she’s surrounded by people who probably on a daily basis wear things most people wouldn’t consider appropriate in most situations. So her point of reference for what is appropriate is going to be a little different from the rest of us.
there is nothing wrong with the way she dresses. these are very teenage clothes. she can’t help if she is growing up fast. i hope madonna won’t let her dress provocatively until she reaches like, 19 or 20 years of age.
I think it’s erring on the side of classy. I know she’s a bit “young” for a bright lip and smokey eye, but I remember wearing heavy makeup at that age, and mine wasn’t always as tasteful. If her mom is worried about makeup I think she should be thrilled, with all that’s out there to tempt a privileged 14 year old. Lohan anyone?
